The ValkScreenVision 1.0 semi-advanced screen system is based on the ValkTriplePlus screen system. This means that you still get the benefits in terms of light gains, smoothness, and installation speed. ValkScreenVision 1.0 adds a key benefit to that: it’s future-proof.
The ValkScreenVision screen profile in this installation offers the option to attach the screen cloth using the well-known cloth clips, but is also ready for the advanced screen insertion system using cloth strips.
This allows growers to upgrade to a fully advanced system later, without having to buy and install new screen profiles, which will save them time and money! In a nutshell: with this semi-advanced screen system, you are prepared for the future.

What makes the ValkScreenVision 1.0 unique?

The ValkScreenProfile VSV is the basis of the system. What sets this profile apart are the chambers for plastic wire guide blocks (ValkWireGuides) and the special chamber for cloth strips, which allows growers to upgrade to a fully advanced cloth retraction system with cloth strips at a later stage.
Wide top for greater strength and to prevent the screen cloth from billowing. Narrow bottom end ensures a smaller cloth package for more light gains. The ValkTrussClip VSV 1.0 fixes the screen cloth to the truss using a very strong connection.
The double bent tab ensures that the polyester wire stays well centred. This means that it will not come into contact with sharp edges and provides double support for the polyester wires, so that they will last longer.
Better clamping force. Highly compact: only 26mm wide. Double, rounded ‘tabs’ at the bottom end prevent polyester wires from wearing.

The ValkWireGuide VSV 1.0 makes sure that the profile and polyester wires can move independently from each other, so that no load is placed on the structure in case of expansion and shrinkage.
Compact design. Easy one-handed attachment in the upper and lower part of the ValkScreenProfile. Prevents wear of the ValkScreenProfile. Prevents light loss thanks to black stripes on the screen cloth.

The ValkScreenClip VSV 1.0 is used to attach the cloth to the ValkScreenProfile. The easy-to-install plastic clip clamps the cloth into the profile’s cloth strip chamber.

How does it work?

The pull/push tube moves to either side on a rack to open and close the screen cloth.

The ValkRollerBracket guides the ValkDriveTube.
Simple installation. Available both as a bolt version and as a clamp version. Use of patented plastic rollers. Freedom of movement of the rollers effortlessly absorbs expansion differences between steel truss and aluminium screen profile.

How does it work?
Works using a stainless steel pull wire. This wire is wound around a steel drive shaft. A special tension bush ensures the wire is tensioned correctly for smooth functioning.

The ValkPulley supports the return wire of the pull wire drive (type 2), so that it cannot sag and the system will continue to run smoothly.

The ValkReversingWheel makes sure the stainless steel pull wire is guided along the gable and returned at a section division.
Readily available, in single or double version. Pre-installed in aluminium casing with plastic wheels. Double bearings to be able to handle greater forces. Easy to mount on standard-size profiles. Available in 100mm and 130mm, compatible with 3mm cable. Prevents contact with ValkKliMax with narrow profile, without needing an extension plate. The ValkDriveShaft is located in the centre of the screen section. The shaft winds and unwinds the steel wire to open and close the screen.
The ValkDriveShaft is available in three versions:
x-reduced, o-reduced, smooth.X-reduced shaft: easy to couple using a bolt connection, without play and without welding! O-reduced shaft: easier to weld together than the smooth tube. Smooth tube: can be welded together.

The ValkWireTensioner is used in combination with the ValkWireSleeve. The tensioner makes sure the stainless steel pull wires are always tensioned correctly for correct functioning of the ValkKliMax. The sleeve ensures the pull wire winds and unwinds neatly.
Suitable for installation on the 2” drive shaft. Steel cable attached on the inner side of the tensioner to prevent it from damaging the screen cloth. Design guarantees a firm bond and steady alignment on the ValkDriveShaft. Grooves on the ValkWireSleeve guide the pull wire. Holes on the ValkWireSleeve indicate when the right number of windings has been reached.

The ValkBearingBracket takes care of guiding the ValkDriveShaft and can be mounted on the greenhouse structure in various ways.
